In an effort to upcycle some sheets that were donated, I came up with cutting them into 5 inch squares and using my scraps to piece together crumb blocks.  The blocks cam out pretty good! (Plus, there isn't any paper to peel off.)The best part is that if you are into paper pieceing, you can use a marker to draw (or iron) on the shapes directly in the fabric, to make your own design.

I have a lot of blue as you can tell.  I plan on making more crumb blocks throughout the week, and making a larger sized quilt.
